Major Recall of Defective Hip Implants (17 November 2010)
There has been a recall of defective hip implants. This product was launched in 2003 and it is estimated that over 10,000 people in the UK have been fitted with the a defective De Puy ASR hip implant used in hip replacement or resurfacing surgery.
